ATV WINTER TRAILS

PEI ATV FEDERATION
We have reciprocal agreements with OFATV (Ontario Federation of Trail Riders, QUAD NB (New Brunswick ATV Federation) & ATVANS (ATV Association of Nova Scotia) so a trail permit from any of those organizations grants you access to PEI ATV Federation trails.

Club #1 Tignish Sportsman Riders (60+ km of winter trail)

The Tignish clubhouse is located at 482 Deblois Road, Tignish. This clubhouse is loaded with amenities, including heat pumps, running water, a kitchen with snacks and refreshments (available for purchase), a restroom and wifi. They host several organized runs throughout the winter riding season for fundraising and social engagement. This club also has dedicated walking/snowshoe trails. There is ample space for unloading of trailers.

*It is important to note that the Tignish and O’Leary club trails are connected! These are the first two clubs in the history of the Federation to do so. You can ride from the Tignish clubhouse to the Tim Horton’s in O’Leary now.

This club recently announced trail expansion to Alberton. Trails are being cleared but likely won’t be ready for this riding season. This new expansion now connects Tignish, Alberton and O’Leary. It adds about 22km to the Tignish winter trail system.

Club #2 Evangeline ATV Club (100+ km of winter trail)

The Evangeline ATV Club has an extensive winter trail system as well as dedicated snowshoeing trails. Their clubhouse is located at 1007 Cannontown Road, Wellington. The clubhouse features a heated indoor space (wood stove & Heat pump), kitchenette and restroom. They host several organized runs throughout the winter riding season for fundraising and social engagement. There is ample space for unloading of trailers.

*It is important to note that the Evangeline club is the first on PEI to add a covered bridge to their trail system. Donated by Linkletter Farms, it is constructed from a shipping container. It features solar lights and will accommodate ATV and SXS up to 81″ wide and 86″ high.

Club #7 O’Leary Recreational Club (50+ km of winter trail)

The O’Leary Recreational Club has completed construction of their new clubhouse located on the Duvar Road in O’Leary. The clubhouse is heated and features a wood stove. We are sure this indoor space will evolve quickly! This club will also host organized runs throughout the winter season for fundraising and social engagement. There is ample space for unloading of trailers.

* O’Leary and Tignish have connected their trails! You can unload at the Tim Horton’s in O’Leary and ride right to the clubhouse in Tignish. History making efforts from these two clubs.
