The PEI ATV Federation met with ATV Club representatives for a Strategic Planning Workshop.
This meeting was a great networking event where clubs shared strengths, weaknesses, initiatives and challenges. Each club gave a presentation of club history, membership information, community initiatives, club goals and some of the challenges they face.
PEI ATV Federations Executive Director Peter Mellish welcomed new clubs and addressed important topics such as the Pilot Road Program, Environmental Trail Recon, progress on the Environmental Code of Practice, the important issue of a Trail Map Rollout, and addressed tourism opportunities.
Ending the conference with an in depth, collaborative and engaging exercise that helped identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges that affect clubs and the Federation as a whole. The final item addressed was the importance of establishing a clear, reflective and inclusive vision and mission statement.
Federation President Jennifer Gallant and Executive Director Peter Mellish thank club and federation members for their attendance and engagement. We’d also like to extend our gratitude to Granville Ridge Consulting’s Don and Betty Maynard who lead the workshop with purpose and direction.
