We owe a large part of our legal trail systems to the landowners who grant us permissions to use their land. Staying on the designated trail is the only way we prevent crop damage. It shouldn’t be a surprise at this point that we ask and expect you to show respect to our landowners property.
Most of these landowners are farmers. When crops are damaged by off-road vehicles it is a direct loss of income for that farmer and their families. Once crops are damaged there is no way to reverse that damage. The impact can have a residual effect for that farmer for years.
It’s a very simple concept, stay on the trail. Do not deviate. Do not assume the field you see is not a legitimate cropped area. This way we enjoy the trail system and our landowners continue to have confidence in their choice to grant land permissions.
