PEI ATV Federation Announces New Interim Vice President

We would like to wish a warm welcome to our newly appointed, interim Vice-President, David Bernard.  He agreed to step into this position within the last week, until the Federation hosts their next AGM.

We are super excited to have David join the team.  He has passion for the sport, and great ideas to contribute to the future of the sport on PEI.  He will bring a fresh perspective and some great skills to the table.

David is originally from the Evangeline region.   His interest in off-roading started in 1983, at the age of 13 when he bought his first dirt bike.  He spent countless hours riding local trails with his friends and even built a small “shack” in the woods where they’d hang out.

Currently living in the Pleasant Grove Road area with his wife Trish, son Dawson, daughter Hannah and also has a step daughter, Brittany, who lives in Alberta.

He has worked with the Provincial Government since 1995 in the Information Technology department.  He is currently working as part of the support team for one of the main computer systems in the hospitals.

Outside of ATVing, he enjoys gardening, brewing beer & wine, and watching his beloved Habs win…every so often. He’s also a handy-man who enjoys doing construction projects around the house.

David looks forward to contributing to the PEI ATV Federation to help continue to improve and expand the Island’s legal trail systems and to see the sport reach new levels.

We’re very happy to have David join the team!
