PEI ATV Federation Announces New Interim President

The PEI ATV Federation would like to wish a warm welcome to Jennifer Gallant who has stepped up as the Federation’s interim President.

She has agreed to step into this position a little over a week ago, until the Federation hosts their next AGM.

We are super excited to have her lead our board of directors as she has drive and passion for our sport, and not to mention an excellent skill set to bring to the table!

Here is a little bit about Jennifer:

Jennifer grew up in the Evangeline area, and decided to remain there to raise her family.  Her husband, Randy, runs his family owned plumbing company.  They have 3 kids;  Ryan 22, Owen 20, and Alyssa 15.

She has enjoyed ATV’ing since she was about 8 years old, when her father bought his first ATV.  It was a beloved family activity that brings back fond childhood memories.  Her father is one of the founders of the ATV Club in the Evangeline area.

As her own kids grew up, 2 left the nest to begin their own adult lives, she now had some time to find herself a hobby. She purchased her first ATV in October of 2017.  In the fall of 2019, her husband and oldest son have also purchased ATVs.  Her daughter, who loves photography and editing go-pro footage from ATV’ing adventures also loves riding.  So it has continued to be a great family activity that they all enjoy together.

She got involved with the Evangeline ATV Club, as the secretary of the club almost immediately after buying her ATV, and has been in that position since.  In 2018, she joined the board of directors of the PEI ATV Federation.  She has worked on a number of projects for the Federation, one of which is the “Advocacy Committee” which consists of monthly meetings with government officials from various departments to advocate for ATV riders to enable us to grow the sport on PEI to become a viable, sustainable industry.

Jennifer is passionate, dedicated and driven to be a part of a bright future for a sport she loves.

Jennifer has been working with CRA since 2000. She has worked in a variety of areas during her career at CRA, from data entry, security, HR, and Excise tax. For the last 9 years, she has been a Business Analyst/Project Manager.

We believe that Jennifer will be a great asset to the Federation. We look forward to working with you Jennifer and once again, WELCOME ABOARD!!!
