East Prince Quad Trax Inc. is a non-profit, four-season ATV club dedicated to developing and maintaining a trail system in the eastern part of Prince County, Prince Edward Island. Serving communities from Kensington to Kinkora and the surrounding areas, the club is an integral part of the PEI ATV Federation, known for its active membership and community focus.

Trail System & Clubhouse

The club manages an expanding network of trails, providing scenic rides through the heart of PEI. A key feature of the East Prince Quad Trax is their clubhouse and warming hut, centrally located at 4139 Route 2 in Wellington Centre. This serves as a popular starting point and gathering place for riders.

The club has been actively working on trail expansion and recently received a significant grant from the provincial government. This funding is dedicated to building new trails and bridges, with an important project underway to connect their existing system to the trails in the Evangeline area.

Activities and Community

East Prince Quad Trax is renowned for its active and family-friendly event calendar. They host a variety of organized runs and activities throughout the year, bringing members together and raising funds for trail maintenance and local charities. Popular events include:

  • Poker Runs: These are a club favourite, often drawing large crowds of riders from across the island.
  • Fundraising Runs: The club frequently organizes rides to support local causes and community members in need.
  • Group Rides: Regular social runs allow members to explore the trail system together.

Their active Facebook page, “East Prince Quad Trax Inc.”, is the best place to find up-to-date information on upcoming events, trail conditions, meetings, and club news.

Membership and Permits

Like all sanctioned clubs on the Island, riders on the East Prince Quad Trax trails must have a valid PEI ATV Federation trail pass. When purchasing a pass, you can select East Prince Quad Trax as your club of choice, ensuring a portion of the fee is directed towards supporting their local trail development and maintenance efforts. Details on acquiring a permit can be found on the RidePEI website. A dedicated group of volunteers runs the club and is always welcoming new members to join and help grow the sport in the area.
