The Queens East ATV Club is a non-profit organization that manages the ATV trail system in the eastern region of Queens County, Prince Edward Island. Serving riders in areas around Mount Stewart, Pisquid, and the surrounding communities, the club is a dedicated member of the PEI ATV Federation, focused on creating a safe, sustainable, and enjoyable trail network.

Trail System

The club’s trail system offers a diverse riding experience, winding through the scenic rural and forested landscapes of eastern Queens County. The trails are maintained for four-season use by a dedicated team of volunteers who work on everything from bridge construction and signage to regular grooming and maintenance.

One of the significant achievements for the club is its connection to the Confederation Trail at the Pisquid Road crossing. This link is a crucial component of the broader effort to create an interconnected trail system across Prince Edward Island, enabling riders to travel greater distances and explore more of what the province has to offer.

Community and Activities

Queens East ATV Club is a community-driven organization with an active and engaged membership. They are known for hosting a variety of events throughout the year that bring people together and support their operational goals. These activities often include:

  • Group Rides: Social rides that provide an excellent opportunity for members to explore the trails together.
  • Poker Runs and Fundraisers: Popular events that help raise essential funds for trail development, equipment, and insurance costs.
  • Trail Maintenance Days: Coordinated volunteer efforts where members contribute hands-on work to improve and maintain the trail system for everyone.

Membership and Permits

To ride on the trails managed by the Queens East ATV Club, a valid PEI ATV Federation trail pass is mandatory. When purchasing or renewing a pass, riders can select Queens East as their designated club. This ensures that a portion of the fee is allocated directly to the club, providing crucial funding for their local trail maintenance and development projects.
